The UMANT Mentorship Program is back!

The 2023-2024 Mentor Program is excited to bring together local government professionals with emerging students and early career professionals of local government in order to facilitate enriching mentorships that offer insight, advice, opportunity and can help students and early career professionals navigate the next stages of their career!

Local Government Leaders: You possess vital knowledge and experience that current and recent graduates wish to obtain. Being a mentor allows you the opportunity to pass along your institutional knowledge while building a professional relationship that students will value for a lifetime!

Students and Emerging Leaders: The public sector needs a new generation of local government leaders who are dedicated to serving their communities and making their towns stronger. Now is the perfect time to learn from those who know the business inside and out!

Applications are open until September 1, 2023. Please complete and submit the appropriate form, found below, and the UMANT Mentorship and Networking Committee will reach out to you in the upcoming weeks with information regarding your mentor. We are excited to see the connections forged through this program and we look forward to matching you!
